Our goals include supporting independent practice legislation for masters level psychologists including 3rd party reimbursement issues that are crucial to our profession and for providing choice of services for mental health consumers all over Kansas. We employ a lobbyist to ensure the legislative interest of the master’s level practitioner is observed. We are certified by the Northamerican Association of Masters in Psychology
NAMP is a nonprofit organization founded in 1993 by Dr. Logan Wright to promote advocacy, affiliation, identity, and communication for psychologist in training or trained at the Master’s level in the professional, academic, governmental and consumer communities.
“I joined so that I could network with other professionals to help me provide better services for my clients.”
